Bob Bob is about 4 and a half months old and just went on his first Grouse hunt. He is out of Ch. Irish's Lord Of The Mist & Ch. Irish's She's The One. Bob is owned by Tim & Jean Jennings.

Bob's First Woodcock Owner Tim writes: Bob flushed and retrieved this bird. Like many dogs he didn't want to pick it up again for a photo. (dogs quite often don't care for the smell of a woodcock)

Lucy Goes to North Dakota From Lucy's owner: Here are a couple of pics of Lucy in the west, she made 15 retrieves today including several multiple retrieves,ran down a couple of cripples and took a couple of casts, she is acting like a seasoned pro for a pup who is not even a year yet, she seen a couple of sharptail grouse when we were field hunting ducks and decided she really wants one of them too! Lucy is out of Ch. Irish's Gallant Knight & Ch. Irish's Lady Of Clover Leaf.  Owned and trained by Roy Ebel.

Pair of Wood Ducks Joshua and Gary got this pair of Wood Ducks in Nashville, MI hunting the Thornapple River. Joshua is 11 1/2 years old. He is out of Ch. Irish's Mystical Merlin & Ch. Irish's Bocacious Bonita. Owned by Dana Mercer & Gary Irish, trained by Dana.

Ch. Irish's God of Thunder - 'Thor' Thor is out of Ch. Irish's Mystical Merlin & Ch. Irish's Bodacious Bonita.  This is his 11th season.  He is owned and trained by Erik & Leslie Haugen. His owners write: Little local hunt, Erik and I.  I shot one -  Thor did an awesome long retrieve, never gave up, sure was "Thor tired" on the way home.  Thor is great as an old timer, very patient waiting for the birds to show, but was "on" when the bird was shot.  Still a Chessie that wanted to know exactly where "his" bird was in the boat on the ride back in, and wouldn't leave the boat without the bird.  Nice hunt, good dog, nice bird, great husband who picked up the deke's so I could throw a line out to fish a little too. Storm Storm is out of Ch. Irish's Mystical Merlin & Ch. Irish's Ultra Classic Lady. She is co-owned with Jim & Linda Grabinski. Jim recently sent this picture and write-up: Today I Pheasant Hunted Storm in Brown City at Farmland Pheasant Hunters. This was Storms first experience on Pheasants. She had no problem flushing the birds to wing & shot. Her drive & desire to work the birds increased throughout the morning. Storm decided that she was not going to sacrifice any cripples or runners, she also flushed & retrieved her first rabbit as a bonus. Fellow hunters Jerry & Dennis were amazed to see such a young dog quarter and work so close. I received another compliment from Preston Mann, owner & dog trainer of Farmland Pheasant Hunters. He said, Jim we don't see very many Chessies hunting out here but she is one nice looking Gun Dog. Thanks again Gary & Dorene for producing a great hunting dog.
