CH IRISH'S GALLANT KNIGHT
(Ch. Eastern Waters Sea Captain x Ch. Irish's Majestic Maiden)
'BEN'
October 3, 2000 ~ September 9, 2013
Ben is a product of one of the few outcrosses that we have done in our breeding program. Ben, along with his littermates Tink and Buster were the three that we had access to for showing and breeding. Ben lived with us, we co-owned his sister Tink and a good friend owned Buster. All three finished their titles with ease.
Ben won Best in Sweepstakes at two American Chesapeake Club (ACC) Supported entries.
The first when he was 7 months old at the Kalamazoo Kennel Club under breeder Patsy Barber judging. The second when he was 8 months old at the Echo Hills Kennel Club, Susan Miles DVM judged.
Ben placed Winners Dog back to back days at the Detroit Kennel Club shows in 2002
including Best of Winners on the day of the ACC Supported Entry.
Ben came back to the Detroit Kennel Club the following year in 2003 and won Best of Breed
at the ACC Supported entry under breeder Judge Betsy Humer.
All the hunting photos of Ben were taken of wild birds hunted at our place.
Considering we only have 15 acres, it has held a nice number of pheasants over the years.
