Jake is co-owned by Jeff Soulliere and Gary Irish. Everyone involved with Jake feels very luck to have him. He is the only offspring for either of his parents to ever enter a show ring. His litter was the only one for both. Jake has more than done his parents, his owners, and our kennel proud. Jake also spends many days hunting with Jeff. Jake is retired from showing now except for special events.
Jake besides being a hunting dog has done well in the show ring. Jake finished his Championship going Winners Dog with a 5 point major at the Detroit Kennel Club show in 2009 where he was also awarded Best of Winners, ultimately defeating 27 class entries.
Jake has won Best of Breed at numerous ACC & MCBRC Supported Entries. He has multiple group placements and wins. Jake initially won the Sporting Group his first time shown as a Special in 2009 at the MCBRC Supported Entry at the Saginaw Valley Kennel Club. His most recent Sporting Group win was at the MCBRC Supported Entry at the Genesee County Kennel Club show this year (2015) where he came out of the Veterans Class at 9 1/2 years old for this big win. He recently earned a Group 4 at the ACC Supported Entry of the St. Clair Kennel Club, coming out of the Veteran Dog class for this win.
