GCH* IRISH'S DARKNESS OF THE ROYAL KNIGHT
(GCH** Irish's Master Jake x GCH Irish's Tigress of The Knight
'Roxy'
Roxy started out with a bang in 2012. At 11 months old, went Best in Sweepstakes, Reserve Winners, Best Puppy and a Puppy Group 3!
2014 was a great year for Roxy. She was entered in six shows, took 3 majors, 2 reserves and a Best of Breed over Specials to finish her title!
At 2 1/2 years old in January 2014, she had a big weekend at the Michigan Winter Dog Classic where she earned two 4 pt majors and two major reserves.
Roxy finished the following month at the Logansport Kennel Club shows. She went into the weekend needing 5 points to finish. There were 3 points available on Saturday and 2 points on Sunday. Roxy picked up her third major on Saturday. IF she would win again on Sunday she would be finished. We get there Sunday, one bitch didn't show up and another that only need majors was pulled, so the points available dropped to one - not enough to finish her title. Well, Roxy took the one point, but then went BEST OF BREED over the two male Specials (both bred by us, one we co-own) putting it back up to 2
points for her and she finished her Championship!
2015 had Roxy off to a great start toward her Grand Championship, she went Best of Breed 3 out of 4 days
at the Michigan Winter Dog Classic held in Novi, MI. Those were her only shows that year.
2016 was another fine start for Roxy. She was shown 2 weekends and finished her Grand Champion title. She earned:
-Best of Breed and a Sporting Group 2 at the Oakland County Kennel Club in Novi, MI at the Michigan Winter Dog Classic.
-Select Bitch both days of the Saginaw Valley Kennel Club show. Saturday was an American Chesapeake Club Supported Entry and she finished her GCH at that show.
