Storm is excellent natural hunting dog. She is co-owned with Jim and Linda Grabinski. They have done a lot wih her in the hunting field and the hunt test arena. Besides field titles she had earned two Master Hunter passes. She has entered the show ring only a few times as her field work and hunting took precedence. We wouldn't enter her in a show if her owners had other plans for her at the same time. Ultimately Storm never finished her conformation title due to scheduling conflicts and we had other dogs we were focusing on too. Although she does have a major towards her title, her biggest placement in a show didn't even earn her a ribbon. Storm was the final and 5th female positioned in the Open class at the 2011 ACC National Specialty Show in an entry of 22 (last photo below). She was obviously in the leanest condition of the finalists as she had been doing so much in the field. But hey, that's the way Chessies should be. Able to be in the field one day in the show ring the next without missing a beat!
You can see more about Storm at Linda's blog. This will take you to Storm's page, but be sure to check out the rest of Linda's site.
