Tara was owned by Scott Feighner, who because of Tara, became a close friend of ours. Tara was out of our Jack, but we didn't own her mother so had no idea where the puppies ended up. Then one day, Carole Bomberger from Park Lake Chesapeakes called and said " Guess who I have here for breeding?" Of course we had no idea, so she told us she had a Jack daughter named Tara.
Sometime later Carole introduced us to Tara's owner Scott at a dog show where he was selling dog food. He wanted to meet Tara's dad Jack, so we took him there the next day for him to see. Well one thing led to another and we ended up showing Tara and having a couple litters partnered with Scott. We've been close friends with Scott and his family ever since.
Tara was lost too soon to a freak accident that traumatized her tail, causing it to swell rapidly, shutting down her respiratory system.
